Travel arrangements can be designed to suit you depending on numbers and location, whether it's by air, land or sea, or a mixture of the three.

Below is an example of an action packed Boys football tour which was adapted to suit the team's specific requirements. The tour took place over the Whitsun period and involved travelling to Belgium from Wiltshire via coach and ferry. The group was made up of children and parents who stayed in a hotel on a bed and breakfast basis with packed lunches being provided for the whole party each day. The group was made up of two U11 teams who both played 2 friendly games.

Day 1 Travelling to Belgium

The excited U11 teams meet at 0700 in Bradford on Avon. They board the coach for the first part of their journey to Dover.
They make the short Dover - Calais ferry trip before continuing to Belgium. When they arrive at the hotel a meal has been prepared for their arrival so they tuck in before spending the night relaxing. Some of the parents enjoy a well earned beverage in the hotel bar.

Day 2 A day full of activities and the first friendly game

The group wake up early and meet for breakfast to discuss the day ahead. They collect their packed lunch and make their way to the coach to cross the border into Holland. The first activity of the day is a stadium tour at the home of PSV Eindhoven. The tour includes a free drink, cake and a discount voucher for the fanstore. No time to rest as they have decided to visit a water park in the afternoon for some aqua fun.

Late afternoon and it's time to depart for the first friendly game of the tour. The game is lost but the children have all enjoyed playing against foreign opposition. The host team prepare a post match meal and refreshments.

Day 3 More activities and the second friendly game

The teams travel to the nearby theme park to spend the morning and early afternoon having lots of fun on the high energy rides.

They then travel to the second venue which is in Belgium for two games against the host club and another invitational team. After the games the children have refreshments before making their way to a local restaurant for their farewell meal.

Day 4 Check out and travel home

Up early for breakfast, then check out and commence the journey back to Wiltshire.
