Below is an example of yet another successful Team Tours Girls football tour which was adapted to suit the team's specific requirements. The tour took place over the Whitsun period and involved travelling to Holland from Carlisle via coach and ferry.

Day 1: Travelling to Holland

The team gathers at their collection point in Carlisle ready for their short transfer to Newcastle where they will board the ferry to Amsterdam.
The girls and adults all have cabins on the overnight ferry which they check into before enjoying some freetime in the onboard disco before retiring to bed. The ship has many facilities including a cinema, a casino for the adults and a selection bars and restaurants.

Day 2: Travel to accommodation/stadium tour

The team is awake early and are eager to get started as they board the coach to travel to the impressive Amsterdam Arena for their stadium tour at the home of Ajax.

At the end of the inspiring stadium tour, the girls are now ready to get going and play some football so they board the coach and head for their accommodation at a holiday park near Eindhoven. The holiday park has plenty of facilities to keep the girls entertained for their week including a water park, tennis courts, mini-golf, various playgrounds, volleyball and a host of other facilities. They have a free afternoon and evening to explore the park and use the facilities.

Day 3: First friendly game

The girls are at the age where they have discovered shopping so they have opted to go on a shopping trip to the Rosada factory outlet in Roosendaal which is 30 mins away.

After they have shopped til they drop (not the usual pre-match preparation) they travel to their next destination which is for their first friendly game of the tour. The game is played in excellent spirit and ends in a 2 - 2 draw. After the game the host team put on a barbecue and refreshments for both teams to enjoy and socialise together.

Day 4: Second Friendly Game

The girls have chosen to go on a shopping and sightseeing day in Breda before departing for their second friendly match in the evening. Although the game is lost, it was competitive game and everybody enjoyed. Again the host club put on refreshments and food.

Day 5: Theme Park Bobbejaanland

Today is a free choice for the girls - some decide to stay on the park and enjoy the facilities and the rest of the group travel to the nearby theme park 'Bobbejaanland' for an action packed day on the various high energy rides. A group booking discount is secured by us so they all save money on their entry fee. The evening is spent relaxing.

Day 6: Depart for Amsterdam

After checking out of the accommodation the coach departs for Amsterdam where the girls are given 2 hours freetime before boarding the ferry for the overnight crossing back to Newcastle.

Day 7: Returning home

The team make their final journey back to Carlisle where they are eager to tell their waiting parents about their action packed week.
