MUD OLYMPICS 2012

This is for men and women that want a totally different and fun weekend to remember

Competing team can be male, female or mixed.

Team Tours are looking for a team of 12 to represent the UK in this tournament. Perfect for stag or hen parties.

The unique Mud Olympic Games with Mudstock Music Festival is held on the muddy banks of the River Elbe, Northern Germany every July - depending on tides.

Another Team Tours exclusive, this fantastic 4 day tour includes entry into the Mud Olympic Games "Wattolumpiade" held on the muddy banks of the River Elbe at Brunsuttel, Northern Germany.

Although the event raises lots of money for local charities, the organisers are happy that participating UK teams can promote and raise money for their own charities. 

Although the weekend is very much a fun event, the mud games are exhausting, and you will definitely feel a few sore muscles in the morning. Good job the new spa, pools and sauna will be open and welcoming.

The games will include:

  • Mud volleyball
  • Mud Handball
  • Mud skiing
  • Mud snorkeling .......... plus more.

The teams are expected to dress up in fancy or outrageous outfits and prizes will be given for best costume and most funny team name - be careful German judges.

Accommodation:

Accommodation is provided in the purpose built cabins in the Olympic village.

Entertainment:

Apart from the games there is an excellent music festival held on the eve before the games commence.

WATTSTOCK MUSIC FESTIVAL

As if the mud games were not enough, the weekend includes entry to the Wattstock (Mudstock) Music Festival.  The music festival - which runs from the Saturday afternoon and into the evening is held in a circus "big top" and attracts around 15 bands - names to be announced. This is a great attraction in itself.
