you like to take your team on 5 day tour in July 2007,
and represent the UK in the International Mud Games
in Germany?
Whether
you have a mens, ladies or mixed team, we can guarantee
an energetic and fun weekend, all at great value.
The International
Mud Games are held annually on the banks of the River
Elbe in Northern Germany. The games are centred in the
town of Brunsbuttel, where the townsfolk have played
in the mud for centuries. In more recent years, the
games have become more organised and now attract 50
teams from all over the world
. but never before
from the UK.
Each year
the games get bigger, with more teams and more events.
This year the games include, Mud Football, Mud Skiing,
Mud Volleyball, Mud Cycling, Mud Handball, Mud Snorkelling
. Plus more.
Although
the games are competitive and exhausting, the emphasis
is on fun, and raising money for local charities.
Part of
the fun weekend includes entry to the Mudstock Music
Festival which is held in a big top circus tent in the
town. More than 15 bands have been booked for the festival,
which runs through Saturday afternoon and evening.
Brunsbuttel is a lovely little town, during the games/festival
weekend the population increases from 14000 to 20000.
The cost
for the long weekend includes; air-port link from Hamburg
to the Games and back, self-catering accommodation and
entry into the games and music festival. Flights are
extra, but currently at £69.00 return from Birmingham.
