Our mission at Team Tours Ltd is to provide a personal and client focused service, providing quality, memorable, tailor-made sports tours and commercial tournaments for all ages, genders and abilities.
Team Tours Ltd was formed in 2004 by Paul Hiscoke. Paul was involved in junior football for many years and has been involved as Cheltenham Inter-league Manager and Secretary, and has worked with Birmingham FC as local academy representative and scout. Paul was a qualified referee before he became committed to Team Tours. Paul has a genuine love and enthusiasm for this business and he really has great pride in organising tours that the travelling parties will talk about and remember for years to come.
Paul says "With a typical tour lasting only 4 days, there is no time for errors and mistakes. It is vital that all the aspects of the tour from the logistics to the games are buttoned down to ensure everything runs like clockwork".
Matthew Bound joined Team Tours Ltd after playing professional football for 16 years.
Matt played for several clubs including Southampton, Hull City, Stockport County, Lincoln City, Swansea City, Oxford Utd and Weymouth FC. Until recently he was the managing director of a holiday business based in South Wales therefore bringing many years of experience in travel and holidays. He has sold his holiday company and now dedicates his time fully to Team Tours Ltd.
During his career he was fortunate to play football in many different countries. Matt comments that 'There are certain tours that will remain with me for the rest of my life. The football tours were pivotal in my development as a player, but at the same time they were also great fun and an opportunity to get to know my team mates properly.'
Although Matt has played football for most of his life, his second love is rugby having been brought up in a family that were very rugby focused, in the Bath area, he visited The Rec whenever possible to cheer on Bath RFC.
Despite his advancing years Matt loves a challenge and is currently in training to attempt the Beast in November. It involves running the same number of miles as the day of the month so there will be 465 miles in total, with 189 miles in the last week! He is running it for the www.bensaundersfoundation.org
