Your sport is our business! let us organise everything for you, so that you can enjoy the experience that a sports tour brings.
Team Tours Ltd was formed in 2004 by Paul Hiscoke. Paul was involved in junior football when dinosaurs still roamed the planet nearly a million years ago. He was a brilliant sprinter in his day having to beat a T-rex and a Diplodocus to the gold medal at the caveman olympics. To this day he has carried on his love of sport and has been involved as Cheltenham Inter-league Manager and Secretary, and has worked with Birmingham FC as local academy representative and scout. Paul was a qualified referee before he became committed to Team Tours. Paul has a genuine love and enthusiasm for this business and he really has great pride in organising tours that the travelling parties will talk about and remember for years to come.
Paul says "With a typical tour lasting only 4 days, there is no time for errors and mistakes. It is vital that all the aspects of the tour are buttoned down to ensure everything runs like clockwork".
Matthew Bound joined Team Tours Ltd after playing professional football for 16 years. Not being the quickest over the ground it was fortunate that he did not have to outrun any dinosaurs!!
Matt played for several clubs including Southampton, Hull City, Stockport County, Lincoln City, Swansea City, Oxford Utd and Weymouth FC. Until recently he was the managing director of a holiday business based in South Wales therefore bringing experience in travel and holidays. He has now sold his holiday company and now dedicates his time fully to Team Tours Ltd.
During his career he was fortunate to play football in many different countries. Matt comments that 'There are certain tours that will remain with me for the rest of my life. The football tours were pivotal in my development as a player, but at the same time they were also great fun and an opportunity to get to know my team mates properly.'
Although Matt played football for most of his early life, his second love was rugby having been brought up around the Bath area, he visited The Rec whenever possible to cheer on Bath RFC.
