More information about Lisbon:

It is well-documented that Lisbon is a beautiful port city and it doesn't disappoint when considering everything that it offers to its' visitors. The city, which is steeped in medieaval history and stunning architecture has the perfect mix of old and new with the award of European City of Culture in 1994 giving it the platform to celebrate everything new and old.

Depending on your preference there are activities to suit everyone: for a more relaxed trip, join one of the sunset walks where you can wander through the narrow cobbled streets to the top of one of the seven hills that surround Lisbon, where you can admire a beautiful panoramic sunset over the city. There are several sightseeing coach trips that you can hop-on which is a great way to see the whole city and surrounding areas. The tram is very popular and will get you to some of the most historic parts of the city. For the more energetic parties there are surfing lessons, paintballing, quad-bikes, go-karts, and even a jeep safari with team-building activities thrown in.

For football fans Lisbon has a rich heritage of successful football teams in Benfica and Sporting Lisbon - if fixtures are kind then why not catch a game or take a stadium tour.

Lisbon is full of shops, cafes, bars and restaurants so visitors to the city won't be short of eateries or refreshments.
